How much does OlaCar charge?
15% of your daily price plus the owner insurance, UYU 150 per rented day. No fixed or monthly fee: if the car does not get rented, you pay nothing.
What if the car gets damaged?
Every trip is covered by the Sura full-coverage policy. If the claim is the driver’s fault, the driver pays the deductible. Minor damage, tolls or fines can be charged to the driver from the app after the trip.
Do I need to be there to hand over the car?
You can arrange an in-person handover. If you want keyless handovers, we do it with OlaTrack, our tracking device that unlocks from the phone.
When do I get paid?
The driver pays everything online when booking. Your share reaches your bank account by transfer when the trip ends.
Which cars can I list?
A car up to 10 years from manufacture with its papers in order. We go over the rest together when we message you.
