For Owners

How do I earn money with OlaCar?

List your car, set your price and availability. When someone books it, OlaCar processes the payment and you receive your earnings after the rental is completed.

Is my car insured during the rental?

Yes. From the start of the rental period until its official completion, OlaCar's insurance coverage is active, including 24/7 roadside assistance, according to the current policy terms.

What happens in case of an accident or damage?

Insurance coverage will be activated and the driver must pay the deductible. Deductible: USD 1,500.

Can I rent outside the platform to someone I met on OlaCar?

No. All rentals must be processed through OlaCar to maintain insurance coverage, support, and platform security. Off-platform rentals may result in account suspension.

What are the requirements to list my vehicle?
  • Model year 2015 or newer
  • Electronic toll system enabled
  • First aid kit, warning triangle, jack and spare tire
  • Valid fire extinguisher
  • Up-to-date maintenance and good mechanical condition

For Drivers

What does the rental price include?

The price includes vehicle usage during your reservation, active insurance coverage, and 24/7 roadside assistance. Fuel, tolls, and traffic fines are not included.

Is the car insured?

Yes. Every reservation automatically activates full insurance coverage during the rental period.

What happens if I receive a traffic fine?

The driver is fully responsible for any fines or violations generated during the rental period, including administrative fees.

Can I cancel a reservation?
  • 48+ hours before: 100% refund
  • 24–47 hours before: 80% refund
  • 6–23 hours before: 50% refund
  • Less than 6 hours: no refund
Can someone else drive the car?

No. Only the registered renter may drive the vehicle. Allowing third parties to drive invalidates the insurance coverage.
